vibrobath
Vibrobath is a unique sound installation created by Devi Mambouka using bespoke vibroacoustic art . It invites participants to sink into embodied listening: sound you can feel as well as hear.
The result is a multi-sensory environment for deep listening that calms the nervous system, supports stress relief, and opens space for inner reflection.
The installation includes vibrating sound pillows and various bespoke VAT art objects that gently massages the body in sync with the bass frequencies.
This technique uses sound to promote relaxation and calmness.
Aromatherapy and guided meditation further enhance the experience, making it multi-sensory.
Vibrobath has been featured at places like The Ace Hotel, Soho House, and Taboola, and has appeared on Buzzfeed.
The sessions are led by music producer and sound therapist Devi Mambouka, known as Masma Dream World.
They have been on the cover of The Wire and featured in The New York Times, FADER, INTERVIEW MAGAZINE to name a few.
Devi performs her ambient drone sounds worldwide at festivals such as Le Guess Who?, REWIRE, Transmission Waves Festival, Raw Power Festival, and the Afrofuturism Festival presented by Carnegie Hall.
