Each Annapurna Polished Singing Bowl comes with a mallet and pillow.

They vary slightly in weight and diameter. While we list the diameter as inches, they are made considering centimeters. Ounces are describing grams. Annapurna, "Goddess of the harvest" is an enormous Himalayan massif, the tenth highest mountain in the world.
The Russian climber Anatoly Boukreev, who died on the Annapurna south peak, summed up his approach like this: "The mountains are not stadiums where I satisfy my ambitions to achieve. They are my cathedrals, the houses of my religion. Their presence is grand and pure. I go to them as all humans go to worship. In their presence I attempt to understand my life, to purify myself of earthly vanity, greed and fear."
Metal bowls, often referred to as “Tibetant” metal bowls, are traditionally used for prayer and meditation in India, Tibet and Nepal. They were utilized in sacred ceremonies by priests for centuries and have only recently (less than 50 years) been incorporated into sound bath practices. People are drawn to these bowls for their rich, deep tones and higher frequencies, which awaken the higher chakras, connect with ancestors, and bring the mind into the present moment.
